My aunt lives about five blocks away from this donut shop, and earlier this morning she asked if I could drive her there to get her favorite donuts. She’s 76 years old and insisted on coming with me because she wanted to make sure she got exactly what she liked. While she was taking a little time to decide which donuts and how many to order, the older gentleman at the cashier—who I’m assuming may be the owner—came across as somewhat rude and impatient. I understand that customers need to make decisions quickly, but I felt the interaction could have been handled with a little more patience and courtesy, especially with an elderly customer. That said, I tried the donuts for the first time, and I have to say, they were actually quite good. Unfortunately, while the food was enjoyable, my overall experience and observation of the customer service were not as positive. Hopefully, they can improve the way customers are treated, because the donuts themselves are worth coming back for.

If you are looking to help local economy, this is the perfect “mom & pop shop”. They are an institution in Burbank, famous for their donuts, apple frites, bear claws and churros!!! The shop is tended by the whole family and they put their heart and soul in every single donut…. Try the chocolate glazed, my favorite!

They literally tried to rob me. I ordered online through their website. Upon arrival to the store 20 minutes later, the employee had no record of the order. No problem there. I simply explained that I didn't have time to wait for the order to be made and would like a refund. That is where the problem began. I was told that she had no way to refund my money and that she would have to have the owner call me. After waiting about an hour, I returned to the store for an update. I was again told that I had to wait for an owner, at which point I asked them to call the owner while I was present. After a lot of back and forth, I literally had to threaten to raise such a stink that I would DRIVE AWAY BUSINESS for them to refund my money IN CASH MINUS $3, because they didn't have enough cash on hand. I used to come to this place all the time, but as of today I will never ever return.

The Service: The owner is very friendly and sweet. She is there at the shop as early as 4am. The service is efficient. The Donuts: Freshly baked daily. Consistent good quality. No wonder she gets lots of orders from the entertainment studios in Burbank. The Parking: Plaza parking lot (free).

When you walk in, you'll be greeted by a friendly staff and the beautiful sight of freshly made donuts. I personally recommend their Bavarian creme. And their apple fritters are not to miss. Some places skimp on the coffee, but the coffee here is worth getting.
